HOLLYWOOD—The X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) returned once again to Boardner's nightclub in Hollywood Sunday night for its 40th annual awards ceremony, with a slew of adult's top stars descending on the venue to indulge in the time-honored bash.
Hosted by Lauren Phillips and Caitlin Bell, with newcomers Savanah Storm and Taylor Nicole serving as trophy presenters, the industry-only event parted with tradition somewhat by moving from its longstanding Thursday night slating in order to coincide—appropriately—with the customarily drink-soaked holiday of Cinco de Mayo.
Reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year Vanna Bardot continued her winning streak by capturing that title once again, as well as seeing her Tushy showcase Influence: Vanna Bardot take the top prize of Best Release. Also coming away with a pair of major honors was AVN Hall of Famer Jonni Darkko, who was named Best Director (Non-Features) and whose Deep Inside Jennifer White claimed the heavily competitive Star Showcase award. Perennial victor Jules Jordan, too, received a new twin set of trophies to add to his collection, clenching Best Gonzo Series for Breast Worship and Best Anal Series for Anal Savages.
