LOS ANGELES—It’s safe to say Emma Rose knows how to make a good first impression.
Less than a year after shooting her first professional scene, the Florida native pulled off a rare feat Thursday by scoring nominations for Best New Face and Best Hardcore Model from the Transgender Erotica Awards (TEAs).
Rose, 24, picked up seven nominations overall—more than any other performer—including two for best boy/girl scene. Daisy Taylor racked up six nominations while Casey Kisses and Lena Moon each tallied five.
All three stars are in the running for Best Hardcore Model along with Rose and trans icons Aubrey Kate and Natalie Mars. Tranimals, the movie Moon self-produced for Evil Angel, is also up for Best DVD. Moon won the award last year with her debut film TransNasty.

“The pandemic cut into our TEA eligibility period for our 2021 show, but from our pre-nominations process we saw there were still a number of award-contending scenes, from last year until now, to choose from,” says TEA Executive Producer Kristel Penn. “We’re excited to get judging underway. We have a really fun show planned for next March, along with some big announcements to follow in the upcoming weeks.”
In addition to the categories listed on theTEAShow.com, winners will be announced for the Transcendence Award, Fan Choice Award, and Lifetime Achievement Awards.
