LOS ANGELES—The 28th annual AVN Awards red carpet procession is the fast-paced, star-studded precursor to the glamorous awards show and no doubt the place to see and be seen—and interviewed. January’s red carpet interviews will be conducted by rocker Dave Navarro, Wicked Pictures exclusive Kirsten Price and Digital Playground stars Jesse Jane and Kayden Kross.
All three girls have previously co-hosted the AVN Awards and all four red carpet hosts have won prestigious AVN Awards trophies.
Price is a seasoned veteran of the AVN Awards red carpet having hosted it three of the past four years. With her stylish sex appeal and charismatic personality, she first made a name for herself in the world of adult modeling before ultimately signing an exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures in 2005.
“It’s a huge honor to be asked back to host the AVN Awards red carpet,” Price told AVN. “I love asking dirty questions, going off script and going with the flow. I’ve hosted with Dave [Navarro] and Jesse [Jane] before and we have great chemistry. I can’t wait to see what everyone’s wearing, and I’m sure it’s going to be super sexy and exciting. I can’t wait.”
Kross, who co-hosted the awards show last year (with Price) in its first year at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort, is excited to usher in a new era for the gala event. The blond beauty entered the adult industry in 2006 while attending college and signed with Digital Playground in January.
“This is frickin’ sweet!” Kross told AVN. “Being chosen to represent our industry by AVN is the highest honor and I love the people I’ll be working with.”
The blond and bubbly Jane, a multiple AVN Award winner, returns to host the red carpet, a duty she shared with Navarro last year. She told AVN that she’s beyond excited to return and already has her dress picked out.
Navarro, a founding member and the guitarist for Jane’s Addiction, returns to host the sizzling hot red carpet for the sixth consecutive year.
