The 2003 AVN Awards Show was held this evening at the Venetian Hotel here. Evil Angel collected a total of nineteen awards — including ten for the John Stagliano-directed film The Fashionistas, including Best Film and three for the Rocco Siffredi-directed video The Ass Collector.
Wicked Pictures collected the second most videos for a single company with a total of eleven AVN Awards wins including Best DVD for last year's Best Video winner Euphoria and four for the Michael Raven-directed video Breathless.
Lexington Steele collected his third Male Performer of the Year trophy while Best Female Performer honors were taken by Aurora Snow.
The event was hosted by VCA contract performer Chloe with comedian Doug Stanhope.
