11 Amps, Inc., the adult division of DreamTank, announced that it has hired Lex Miles, the original owner of Adult.com, as its new president. Miles brings with him over 15 years of production experience to the company.
“I’m very happy to be joining the team at 11 Amps,” Miles told AVN.com. “I have known the owners for about two years now, and they have a tremendous amount of experience in developing adult sites.
“I just look at this as a great chance to combine my expertise with that of 11 Amps.”
As one of his first deals with 11 Amps, Miles has penned an agreement with Evil Angel Productions. The contract between the companies will call for the encoding of several hundred of the Evil Angel’s DVD titles in broadband formats, upgrading the company’s video content from a 56k format.
Evil Angel also signed license deals with three rev share programs that 11 Amps will manage. The first, Channels On Demand, is an IPTV entertainment system that merges large non-adult traffic website with content owners. The second is Hardfux.com, which caters to early adopters of wireless devices such as ipods, PSPs and WAP phones. The third is Polar Frog Digital, which provides scenes on demand in kiosks located in adult bookstores whereby the customer can choose any scenes they wish and burn a custom DVD while shopping.
