LOS ANGELES—It's hard to believe that it's been ten years since the first Tranny Awards dropped in 2009, but the event now known as the 2018 Transgender Erotica Awards Show (TEAs) will celebrate their 10th anniversary with special guests and features planned for the upcoming show. The three-day event will be held during March 9-11 at Avalon and Bardot (Avalon’s connecting property) located in Hollywood, CA.
The TEAs continues to be the only event of its kind, celebrating the accomplishments of the trans adult industry. From its beginnings as an online competition hosted by Grooby, it has since expanded into a three-day event, drawing guests from all over the world.
“It's hard to believe that we've been doing this for 10 years; it seems like we're just getting started in what we can accomplish with this show,” said Grooby owner Steven Grooby. “The growth has been tremendous and the support we've gained both from the trans community and the wider adult business community fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do to make this show extra special this year and make sure as many people can come and enjoy it.”
Following the same schedule as last year, the three-day event will kick off with a pre-party on Friday evening, March 9, at the Bardot; a daytime fan convention on Saturday, March 10; and finishing off with the popular awards ceremony on Sunday, March 11, at the Avalon. More details about the event will be released in the months to come. Those interested may visit the show's official website at theTEAShow.com.
