LOS ANGELES—Leading adult entertainment companies Vivid Entertainment and Gamma Broadcast Group have announced a strategic alliance.
Under terms of the partnership agreement with Vivid, Gamma will oversee day-to-day operations of VividTV and Vivid.com, the broadcast and Internet arms of the firm that has long been an industry leader. Through its years of producing award-winning movies, Vivid has assembled what it says is "the world’s largest archive of adult films" of any single studio, which remain best-sellers online, on broadcast and in stores throughout the world.
“It’s the perfect time to combine VividTV’s worldwide success in developing the adult television business with Gamma’s online and technology expertise,” said Steven Hirsch, founder and co-chairman of Vivid. He said that he and Vivid co-chairman Bill Asher will be intimately involved in the partnership and will continue to oversee Vivid Radio and licensing activities.
