The Barcelona Summit Announces February Dates

BARCELONA, Spain—The Barcelona Summit will host its second adult online B2B and webmaster event Feb. 19-21, 2010.

With a showing of 300-plus participants from 26 countries at the event’s recent first pan-European show, organizers are predicting that 450 professionals from more than 30 countries will attend next year’s event.

“In these tough economic times the Barcelona Summit management team is proactively and on a daily basis in the market for its participants, exhibitors and sponsors,” show organizers said in an announcement made Tuesday. “For you we are once again bringing new faces ... and new business opportunities to the table.”

Programmed just after the GSMA Mobile World Congress, the Barcelona Summit also expects a significant rise in mobile attendance as well as other peripheral markets such as dating.

Organizers say the upcoming event will further be highlighted by intense international networking sessions, a stronger country focus, great webmaster freebies as well as improved sponsor packages.

Topping it all off will be a fantastic hospitality program, including an evening—in VIP style—at the Nou Camp, home of reigning champions F.C. Barcelona, to watch the world’s best soccer team in action.
