LOS ANGELES—This month SugarInstant is celebrating 15 years of doing business online.
The site started out as SugarDVD.com back in 2001 renting adult DVDs by mail. As the company grew it added new DVD sales, pay-per-view, and unlimited streaming. The unlimited streaming service is available on Roku, PS4, Xbox, Google TV, mobile and more. This year it launched live shows, added exclusive VR content and made its site responsive across all devices.
“We have always looked ahead and asked ourselves what will our customers want in the future,” said CEO Jax Smith.
The company says it is now focused on bringing content to life. It started working on virtual reality in 2014 and after lots of experimenting posted its first VR movie this year.
“It’s exciting to think about the possibilities VR could bring to adult,” said Business Development Manager Natasha.
The new exclusive VR content is currently compatible on Google Cardboard, Samsung VR and Oculus Rift. It is available for streaming at no additional cost through the unlimited streaming service.
