Stormy Daniels Drags Michael Cohen On Twitter Over Trump ‘Threat’

AVN Hall of Famer Stormy Daniels has been involved in a lawsuit against Donald Trump and his former lawyer and  “fixer” Michael Cohen since March of last year, over the “hush money" payment Cohen made, he has now said, on Trump’s orders to silence Daniels over her sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.

But plenty has changed since Daniels and her lawyer Michael Avenatti filed their lawsuit 10 months ago. As AVN.com has covered, Cohen and Trump have turned against each other, with Cohen in federal court directly implicating Trump in a felony conspiracy to influence the 2016 presidential election by silencing Daniels.

And on February 7, Cohen was scheduled to testify under oath to the House Oversight Committee—testimony that was widely anticipated to contain damaging revelations about Trump, and which Daniels told AVN that she would be attending in person.

But on Tuesday, Cohen backed out of his date with Congress, saying through his lawyer Lanny Davis that “ongoing threats against his family from President Trump and [Trump’s lawyer Rudy] Giuliani, as recently as this weekend,” had caused him to “postpone” his testimony.

But Daniels, who says she was threatened in 2011 by a man invoking Trump’s name in front of her then-infant child—and which threat Cohen may have arranged—wasn’t having Cohen’s excuse, taking to her Twitter account  to ridicule her legal adversary.

“Are you fucking serious, Mikey?! What about MY family? You gave zero shits about my baby,” Daniels said, going on to denigrate Cohen’s masculinity. “In all serious though, this is WHY you shouldn't back down! This is your chance to be a hero! I'll loan you some of my balls, hold your hand, or whatever else you need to do the right thing.”

Avenatti also jumped onto his own Twitter feed to call Cohen’s postponement of his testimony “ludicrous.”

“We have all received numerous threats, especially Stormy Daniels (largely due to Cohen btw),” Avenatti wrote. “It doesn’t stop us from doing what is right.”

While Cohen has not set any new date to appear before the House Oversight Committee, on Thursday the Senate Intelligence Committee slapped Cohen with a subpoena, legally forcing hm to testify.

Davis said that Cohen will not resist the subpoena, according to Politico. “But what he will do as a result of the subpoena is a legal issue that would come down to reasonable discussions,” Davis said.
