LOS ANGELES—Vivid Radio, one of the world’s most listened to adult radio networks, has announced that Sluts & Scholars (S&S), a live show co-hosted by registered marriage, family and sex counselor Nicoletta Heidegger and actor/activist Simone, will debut on the channel on April 5. The shame-free, call-in talk show will be heard starting next Thursday on SiriusXM channel 415 and on VividRadio.com from 2-3 p.m. PT. The show is produced and directed by Michael Dutcher.
Launched in May, 2017, the lively, engaging and critically acclaimed S&S podcast quickly found a sex-positive audience that wanted to learn more about current trends and concerns from these two non-judgmental, scholarly women who also happen to like sex and have fun talking about it. Nicoletta and Simone were friends before Nicoletta founded the S&S podcast. Their guests have included legendary adult industry performers and experts of all types who offer ideas and philosophies on how to improve and navigate your sex life.
For example, on the podcast released today on iTunes, Nicoletta and Simone chat with author Dr. Paul Joannides about his book, Guide To Getting It On.
“Dr. Joannides’ book is a go-to classic that you can find on any sex therapist’s bookshelf,” said sexologist Nicoletta Heidegger. “In this episode, we talk with Dr. Paul about what sex education is timeless, and also challenge some information with a more intersectional perspective.”
The episode is titled, Pleasure Is More Than What You Can Do With Your Penis with Dr. Paul Joannides, and Nicoletta and Simone walk through the evolution of sex education and more with the author.
Heidegger noted, “One of my favorite topics that Dr. Paul artfully describes is that of ‘premature ejaculation’ and all of the common misconceptions about it. While some of the perspectives come from a heterocentric approach, I feel that anyone with a penis, and anyone who loves someone with a penis, should give this a listen.”

With her background in human sexuality and through her private practice, Nicoletta is knowledgeable about the sex habits of politicians, porn stars and ordinary people. Simone makes people comfortable even talking about the uncomfortable. She was raised in France and believes she brings a more continental perspective to all subjects related to sex.
Listeners can call in on Thursdays to talk to the savvy hosts at 855-99-VIVID. In addition to the live show on Thursdays, a previously recorded S&S podcast will air on Tuesdays on VividRadio in the same 2-3 p.m. PT time slot.
