LOS ANGELES—The Daily Beast has posted a new interview with Douglas Hines, the creator of the sex robot Roxxxy.
Titled "What Sex Robot Should You Order?" writer Lizzie Crocker notes that sex robots have been a popular topic in the national media.
“Our robots allow people to experiment and fulfill the desires that they may not be able to express because their real-life partner doesn’t allow it,” Hines, who introduced his first version of Roxxxy in 2010 at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, told The Daily Beast.
Hines runs the New Jersey-based company True Companion, which sells Roxxxy for $9,995, or up to $12,000 with customizations.
