FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—Segpay, a pioneer in digital payment processing, has announced that it finished 2022 with a 22 percent increase in overall growth, resulting in the best year yet for the company in monthly transactions volume.
Segpay’s results, the company said, were driven by its efforts to grow the company. In 2022 the company invested more than a million dollars to add innovative solutions, staff and software. Segpay also expanded its offerings by adding PayPal as a payment option for its U.S. merchants, along with Segcard, a pay-out solution designed for content creators. In addition, the company doubled the size of its operations in Ireland.
Also in 2022, Segpay and its CEO Cathy Beardsley received several awards, including being named as one of Forbes' “50 over 50," one of American Banker’s Most Influential Women in Payments and one of the Top Women-Led Businesses in Florida.
“It’s been incredible to be recognized for the hard work our team puts in every day as they strive to offer the best experience for our merchants All the Way to Paid,” Beardsley said. “We are grateful for the trust our merchants place in Segpay. They are truly the fuel for our growth engine.”
Among Segpay’s other accomplishments in 2022 were:
