In the wake of yesterday’s big election in the United States, members of the adult industry had something to celebrate regardless of party affiliation: California’s Proposition 60, the mandatory-condom ballot measure that would have opened the door to lawsuits and harassment of adult entertainers, went down to defeat.
It was a tough fight, and we can be relieved that it’s over.
Now, how about voting FOR something?
Members of GFY.com have until Sunday, November 20 to nominate their choices for the sixth annual GFY People’s Choice Awards. This is an opportunity for members of the adult online industry to decide who rightfully deserves to be named the best in 29 industry categories.
The winners will be announced on January 16, 2017, during the InterNEXT Expo, taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. Admittance to the GFY Awards is FREE for all InterNEXT attendees.
But first, GFY members will have their say.
The winners will be determined in three rounds.
Round 1: Nominations
Continuing through November 20, 2016. All nominees will advance to Round 2.
Round 2: Preliminary Voting
Open November 28-December 13, 2016. The top 10 nominees in each category will advance to Round 3.
Round 3: Final Voting
Open December 15-29, 2016
This round is private and winners will be announced at the official GFY Awards ceremony during Internext. The event, sponsored by Pussycash, will take place January 16, 2017, inside Club Vinyl at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
