MONTREAL—Pure Taboo's venture into science-fiction continues with new scene Future Darkly: The White Room, available today at PureTaboo.com.
In the scene, nerdy school bus driver Vincent (Michael Vegas) has created a secret fantasy life for himself via a special VR headset that transports his bus passengers into his virtual world using their DNA. One of those passengers, played by Whitney Wright, finds herself trapped in a blank room from which she's unable to escape.
Directed by Bree Mills and Craven Moorehead, the scene co-stars Alison Rey, Carolina Sweets, Gracie May Green and Nina North.
"We created the concept of Future Darkly to show viewers the scary side of emerging technology and where our prurient desires might lead," Mills explained. "It's a reminder that we need to tread carefully into this brave new world."
