Pornhub Officially Launches 'Collaborators' Tagging System

LOS ANGELES/MONTREAL—Pornhub.com has officially unveiled its new co-performer tagging and verification model. The new system is called Pornhub Collaborators and is now entering a beta test for content creators verified in the platform's model program.

"Models now have the option to opt-in to send and receive collaboration requests from other verified models on our platform," reads a post shared by Pornhub on X. "Once models opt-in to this feature and accept your collab request, it will allow you to tag them in your content on Pornhub easier than ever before."

To use tagging and performer verification, creators must opt into Collaborators and accept requests from other verified creators.

AVN previously reported on the announcement as a step forward for consent and content creator verification, which was announced earlier this month.

New policies include the requirement to upload a release form for all co-performers who don't already have one on file or complete the verification process through a digitally used eSignature. Missing IDs and proof of consent delay new video releases and could affect monthly payouts.

Models can access Collaborators by accessing the model dashboard. From there, models can access core settings and opt-in to the program.

Collaborators will default to "manually accept requests" as an option when enrolled. An automatic acceptance setting also exists to expedite the process of tagging.

"Our moderation team will make sure to check that all models are correctly tagged," reads the thread on X.

Documentation on the program is now available on the Pornhub Help Center.

Pornhub also made it a requirement in January 2024 for both performers to submit identification and performer releases.
