LOS ANGELES—Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, will host a three-day event, focusing entirely on the benefits and psychology behind BDSM and fetish. The “Healing Through Kink” event will take place online April 27- 29 and is free for adult performers.
“Kink can be seen as a sensual, intimate and powerful somatic practice which many people find healing,” says Leya Tanit, founder and president of Pineapple Support. “There is strength in being able to reclaim parts of your sexuality that have been buried or feel shame-fueled from past trauma. Join us on this journey, while we discover how being a part of the kink and BDSM lifestyle can affect mental health and possibly help persons heal from past trauma.”
The “Healing Through Kink” event is sponsored by ShinyBound.com, Kink, Feet4Cash, LoyalFans and Clips4Sale. The virtual event will include live webinars from therapists, counselors and mental health experts, as well as panels and round table discussions with performers and producers. (All times below EST)
