LAS VEGAS—Penthouse CEO Kelly Holland will deliver an address during the Female Empowerment Lounge, sponsored by Chaturbate, beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15.
The event is part of the Internext trade show, presented by AVN Media Network.
Holland entered the adult entertainment industry as both a progressive documentary filmmaker, a feminist and owner of the post-production studio, Art Attack Productions. After meeting Marci Hirsch at Vivid Video, Holland began directing adult videos for Vivid in 1994 under the name “Toni English.” She also produced both a one-hour documentary on the adult business and a reality television series, Adult Television Entertainment, which would air for 9 seasons. It was during production of the documentary that Kelly began to appreciate the radical, unapologetic message that underpinned the actresses of adult.
As “Toni English,” Holland spent more than a decade directing, first for Vivid, then Adam & Eve, Wicked Pictures and Jill Kelly Productions. In 2005 Holland became the head of production for the nascent women’s channel Playgirl. She was responsible for creating the look and feel of the content and acted as a national spokesperson for the brand. In 2007 she was asked to create content and launch broadcast operations for the iconic men’s brand Penthouse. Over the following 8 years she would become its President of Broadcast, Licensing and Publishing.
In early 2016 Kelly Holland acquired Penthouse Global Media, Inc..
