LONDON—Creator site MintStars has unveiled MintPay, a new payment method to make tipping easier and more accessible for fans.
MintPay allows fans to tip their favorite creators without the need of a MintStars account. The new feature is designed to offer a secure, safe, and simple way for adult content creators to get paid at a time when many platforms are shutting down or struggling due to payment discrimination against sex-positive businesses. Alongside MintPay, MintStars offers zero fees for creators (replaced by a 5 percent fee for fans), protection from chargebacks, and fast payouts, all underpinned by crypto stablecoin payments. This unique approach allows creators to avoid the high fees and chargeback risks associated with traditional payment processors.
“We’re proud to present MintPay, the easiest, safest and cheapest way for creators to receive tips from fans,” MintStars CEO Daniel Sargent said. “Our goal is to make it as simple as possible for fans to support creators, and MintPay is a major step in that direction.”
MintStars is waiving its 5 percent platform fee for the first three months, ensuring fans only pay a small processing fee, with 100 percent of their tip going to the creator.

Originally launched in 2023, MintStars enables creators to monetize their content through subscriptions, tips and content resales, where creators can earn royalties from fans reselling their content. The platform is currently home to over 4,000 creators.
