CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Spanish porn stud Marco Banderas accomplished a staggering feat in the annals of the male species last weekend when he mannaged to fire off a record 10 cumshots in three and a half hours during a live broadcast on Kink.com.
The idea to attempt this superhuman challenge was spurred, Banderas told AVN, by a joke from adult director Mike Quasar when he was interviewed by Spanish TV for a documentary on Banderas' life.
"Mike said, 'Marco can cum 17 times in one afternoon,'" Banderas explained. "And I thought, 'I can do that.' So I mentioned it to the guys at Kink.com and they only gave me four hours, but I know if I was given a whole afternoon, I could reach 17 cumshots."
Of course, 10 is certainly nothing to sneeze at. But Banderas says that thanks to his co-stars for the event, Jynx Maze and Kristina Rose, it was a cakewalk.
"I have to thank them very much, as a large part of my success was due to them," he conceded. "I didn't have a strategy, but what I did plan was to have Jynx Maze by my side talking to me in Spanish, and Kristina Rose tried her best to talk dirty to me in Spanish too. That always helps me to cum."
Not only did he go into the event without any particular strategy, "I really didn't do any special preparation," Banderas said. "I'm already used to working two or three times a day, and when I do live cam shows for Brazzers, I usually cum four times in the 50-minute duration of the show. My personal record was seven cumshots in six scenes in one day."
Nevertheless, he wasn't without a touch of jitters when the time came to put his mansauce where his mouth was.
"I was quite nervous at the start because of the large amount of public in attendance," Banderas admitted. "Every time I came, someone would ring a bell to announce it, so that pressure was quite stressful also. I have no problem cumming one after another, but I tried to pace myself so that my balls would have a chance to fill up again. [laughs] Even so, just to calm myself down and be sure that I was going to break the record, I did five cumshots in the first hour and a half."
Though some might suspect some trickery or sleight-of-cock was behind Baneras' Olympian-like ability, he swears, "I don't have a secret. I think it's all in the mind, and if you can control it, you can do whatever you want."
In his native Spain, Banderas has become a national celebrity thanks to two documentaries about him on the country's biggest TV channels, one of which (Canal Plus) subsequently gave him a regular reporting segment on its monthly erotic program Mundo X which he produces, directs and presents himself. Because he resides full-time in the U.S., however, he hasn't yet felt the full impact of his fame in his homeland.
"I haven't had the opportunity to live the experience yet in Spain, as I haven't been back yet," Banderas said, "but it does surprise me every time I meet Spanish tourists on vacation here who recognize me instantly and ask for my autograph and want to have their photo taken with me. Then I realize how famous I must be there. The most amazing part of the whole process is that I am asked to interview for important newspapers and radio stations.
"I've also been getting many offers for new projects in Spain in mainstream, and possible record contracts," he added. "This is the career path that I've always wanted to follow, so I can definitely imagine myself as a professional singer there."
