ManyVids Joins Net Neutrality Fight

LOS ANGELES—Along with Internet giants such as Amazon, Netflix, and Twitter, ManyVids has joined the fight for Net Neutrality, participating in the July 12th Day of Action, a movement organized by a nonprofit, Fight for the Future. The movement attempts to raise awareness for Net Neutrality, which states that internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications. The protest is aimed at the FCC, which is planning to repeal Net Neutrality laws, and potentially give ISPs the ability to favor or censor certain content.

ManyVids announced their participation last month, along with industry sites such as Kink.com and Pornhub. In a joint statement, ManyVids executives said, "People who pursue strange fetishes already feel that they must hide it, and that it's out of the norm.”

They further noted that they "want to create a space that welcomes those individuals and make them understand that they aren't alone. That there are others who celebrate that with them."

In their support for the movement, ManyVids launched a campaign to galvanize cam models and porn actresses to raise awareness, called #TheInternetIsMine.

Alongside their Twitter campaign, ManyVids has created a video with participating MV Stars to promote the movement.

Anyone and join the campaign by creating a tweet with the hashtag #TheInternetIsMine.

You can also raise awareness and support the movement by going to the Battle For The Net page, and sending a message to FCC & Congress via the letter form.
