LOS ANGELES—Adult star Karmen Karma is making a comeback, ending her two-year hiatus by signing an exclusive six-month contract with Brazzers.
“I wasn’t going to come back unless it’s a contract deal and I thought it couldn’t get better than that for me,” Karma told AVN.
The hardcore performer decided to go big in more ways than one, doing a DP—her favorite kind of sex scene—today for Brazzers in her first scene back.
“The industry honestly just makes me feel like home,” Karma said. “There are other girls like me. Usually I have to hide my slutty side in real life. You can’t really hook up with girls and guys the way you want to. It’s hard to go out and plan a DP in the real world.
“I love that I get paid to do things that I want to do anyway. It’s a comfortable environment. I feel like I fit in with the adult industry.”
Karma recently started updating her OnlyFans account with new content, shooting with friends such as Adriana Chechik. She said it stoked her fire to perform again.
“It made me miss the industry and I didn’t want to just come back for anyone,” Karma said. “I wanted it to be special this time.”
The native of Houghton, Mich., said she was going to start uploading her content to Pornhub when she heard from Director of Production Ryan Hogan.
“He was like, ‘I’ve seen you’ve been active on your Twitter again lately.' I was MIA for a bit and he put it in my head. He said, ‘We’d love to have you for a comeback.’ I said, ‘Maybe one day’ and I would think about it,” Karma explained. “This was probably around Christmas time. So I thought about it for a few months and then contacted him a couple months ago.”
Hogan told AVN, "Karmen’s return had long been on our radar. She is the epitome of what we look for in a contract talent star, so when the opportunity presented itself to have her comeback exclusively on Brazzers, there was no hesitation on our part. Karmen is the definition of the type of talent we want to highlight on Brazzers."
Karma has performed in 10 scenes for Brazzers during her career in which she has amassed close to 160 performing credits.
"It’s apparent that she gives her all in every scene she stars is—and our members have definitely taken note," Hogan continued. "Fans have been very vocal about Karmen’s comeback on social media, so it was a clear case of listening to our members and being able to deliver one of the highest caliber performers in the industry. Karmen will be an integral part of Brazzers, but we will also be happy to showcase her talents with a more cinematic platform on Digital Playground."
Karma added, “I was pleasantly surprised that they said that all the members on the site liked me and my scenes have been good."
The fan favorite who now resides in San Diego debuted in 2012 when she was 21; she took a break from performing in March 2016 to start a family, saying she wanted to be open about why she stepped away so there were no misunderstandings about her reason.
“I was not leaving because I don’t like the industry. I didn’t leave because I hated the job. It was the only way for me to start a family,” she said.
When Karma first stopped performing she trained for her first fitness model competition in May 2016, when she won both the Open Bikini and Novice Bikini divisions. She said she’s no longer competing, but still works out all the time for fun.
Karma admits she always wanted to do porn, going back to when she was 18.
“I was trying to be a good girl for my family and then finally when I was 21, I decided to live for me,” she said, adding that she actually figured out how to do live-cam shows while she was still in high school.
“The way I started, I didn’t know there was actually cam sites. I would go on free live chat sites and say, ‘Do you guys want to see a show?’ And give them my MSN Messenger. When the guys would add me on MSN Messenger I would get them to PayPal me and do shows from my bedroom.”
