JuicyAds Rolls Out Improved Proxy/VPN Blocking for Advertisers

VANCOUVER, British Columbia—JuicyAds has announced that it now allows advertisers to shut off swaths of the internet from banner campaigns.

Proxy and VPN use has increased significantly over recent years, and there is a perception that proxy traffic isn't impactful, but proxy/incognito/private browsers are now commonplace.

Some individual advertisers understand that VPNs and proxies are part of normal everyday internet use, and treat the traffic as regular website visitors. JuicyAds aims to differentiate itself by proving that proxies have value. Individual advertisers consider the quality of the traffic differently, so JuicyAds has taken a different approach by giving advertisers the choice to monitor and filter out proxy/VPN/colohost website traffic. Many advertising networks either do not block this kind of traffic at all, or it is widely blocked without a full understanding.

"At JuicyAds, we believe the decision should be yours, so we allow easy enabling and disabling of Proxy/VPN/Colohost traffic," stated Juicy Jay, CEO and founder of JuicyAds. "For example, I use a VPN every single day for work. I don't use it for safety or privacy concerns, but because it's just a tool I frequently use. I just as often forget to turn it off when doing the other hundred things I do throughout the day. There are lots of legitimate people behind proxies and just as many non-legitimate. Now the choice is yours to block them or purchase those clicks."

The update has been tested on the company's new UX13 platform for some time. However, improvements to code and blocking ranges have been made recently, prior to the official release.
