How Social Media Factors in 'The New Camming Perspective'

When we begin to discuss social media, we first need to think about the human needs for social interaction—which is simply part of our nature. Cyberculture is our contemporary stage of technological civilization, based on virtual technologies and social media to establish social relationships, which has come to a point where online interactions between two people arouse the same feelings and emotions as face-to-face meetings. So if technology defines our society in a way that interactivity has become a requirement in contemporary time, then social media is the best tool to exercise social influence. When its related to the Live Cam Industry, social media apparently is the most efficient tool to both attract new members and keep regular visitors interested in the same model (specifically, the person she is), helping her to build her own loyal following base, generate her own traffic and brand herself. 

Let's remember that when we are talking about cam girls we are talking about amateur models offering online interaction, both social and sexual, and the best type of customers (bigger spenders who make models feel great during and after show because they are treating them as people and not only as objects of harassment) are interested not only in looks, but in personalities too. Also, members won't come back (offering their loyalty) to any model who is not there to see them as people as well, who are not paying attention to their individuals desires and needs, but just treating them as random guests. So the Live Cam Industry needs to appreciate models that can be both sexy and sensual and at the same time be able to interact in a positive manner (with good verbal communication) by being spontaneous, friendly and attentive both on and offline.

Now, it's time to discuss the social media strategic content directed to camming in order to achieve member's loyalty. If loyal customers are to feel like they are part of their favorite model's life (both on and offline), most of them will be curious and want to know the following:

1) What does she look like when she is not performing on cam?

2) What does she like to do in her spare time (does she like to travel, to swim, to go to the beach)?

3) Does she have an average life (goes to the supermarket or gym, likes to look natural or wear make-up, drives a car or take a bus/taxi, cooks her own food or order it online, what does she like to eat)?

4) And what about her schedules of camming (when is she going to come back online)? 

Thus, I would like to suggest the following:

— Try to work on all these points when you are creating your social media posts. Without forgetting potential related keywords and hashtags!

— Take care of and pay attention to your model profile. It’s not meaningless!

— Remember to describe yourself by showing them that you’re a real person, expressing your singularity. What you have in yourself that makes you unique/special?

— As such, be aware there are no holidays or vacations with social media, which also requires frequent (daily) updates to keep followers stimulated and motivated to check out everything new.

Taking into account this is an online work, everything you do is only validated when passed through the lens of social media. You are exactly what you want to show to your members. So, you are in control!
