MONTREAL—Lesbian erotica site Girlsway, a division of Gamma Entertainment and its affiliate program FameDollars, has selected adult star AJ Applegate as its Girl of the Month for June 2017.
To mark the occasion, Applegate takes over Girlsway's official Instagram today for 24 hours, during which she will post personal stories, videos and photos exclusively for Girlsway.com fans.
"AJ has been with us from the beginning; she took Dakota Skye's first lesbian anal virginity on Girls Try Anal," said Bree Mills, producer/director for Girlsway and Gamma Films' head of production. "We are so proud to have her represent us as a Girlsway Girl of the Month.”
"I’m seriously so excited about being Girlsway Girl of the month!” said Applegate, who has starred in over 20 Girlsway scenes so far, including the upcoming mini-series A Dirty Cinderella Story, out August 7. “I love being able to represent an amazing company, and getting recognition for the scenes I have done for them.”
Girlsway will post a special compilation promotional video, now a standard feature at Girlsway.com for Girl of the Month winners, with a personal interview highlighting Applegate's genuine response as she is notified of her win. As part of her award package, which includes being featured in Girlsway ads, Applegate shot an exclusive "Dream Pairings" scene with her personally selected co-stars, Stella Cox and Ashley Fires.
“We wanted to show a personal side of AJ, which features one storyline built with two different sex scenes,” said Mills, noting that Applegate has also been selected to appear with two previous 2017 Girlsway GOTM winners—Alexis Fawx and Uma Jolie—in their own respective Dream Pairings.
Applegate reports that she’s a Girlsway fan herself: “I absolutely love the Girlsway brand. I think they are the best lesbian company out right now,” she said. “Honestly, I have already lived out all of my lesbian fantasies on Girlsway.”
Each month, Girlsway showcases one performer to represent the Girlsway brand; at year's end Girlsway members will vote for its Girl of the Year for 2017.
