LOS ANGELES—GameWithMe.com is set to launch Dec. 19, and is set to allow gamers to stream in the manner that they want.
“Our competitors are marginalizing broadcasters on their platforms, and only paying the top 5 percent like the stars they are. We want GameWithMe to be the home of excellent gaming content, with the ability to have paid shows where the performer chooses the content of the show,” said CEO Steve Hamilton.
Hamilton has a background in online broadcasting and video gaming, and had an account on a competitor site removed due to his broadcasting partner wearing a shirt that was deemed inappropriate for showing an excessive amount of cleavage.
In an era of demonetizing and de-platforming streamers for saying or doing anything controversial, a new player is entering the market, poised to allow streamers to do shows the way they like. At GameWithMe, streamers and members dictate the content of the broadcast, not corporate ad partners.
The focus of GameWithMe is to give gamers a platform where they are not constantly worrying about getting removed or from the platform or getting demonetized like on other services. GameWithMe is focused on being the most performance-centric site in eSports, offering payouts of up to 70 percent for any and all streamers.
The official launch of GameWithMe will be at midnight (PT) Dec. 19. There will be prizes for streamers and members. All streamers will need to be approved, sending in identification to participate in the site. New streamers are encouraged to sign up early.
