CYBERSPACE—New celebrity Twitter users, beware! Put a wrong link into a tweet and you could get some publicity you never bargained for. Eva Longoria Parker is learning that one the hard way.
The Desperate Housewives star apparently signed up for Twitter last week, and got so excited about the new social networking tool that she forgot to add a digit to the Twitter page belonging to husband and San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker, and in doing so unwittingly sent her fans to the Twitter page for a porn tube site.
Saturday, the actress tweeted a correction.
“Oh noooo! I put the wrong twitter site for my husband!! Its @tp9network The one I put earlier goes to some porn site!!!! Don't use it,” she said.
Of course, some people already had clicked the link, but even if they had, it only went to a Twitter page and not to the actual site.
Even though we’re AVN, we’re not going to provide a link to the free tube site or their Twitter page, but we will gladly provide one to Parker’s!
