Today, Eurowebtainment sent out an announcement indicating it is postponing its Digital Business Forum, slated for May on the island of Mallorca.
Offering an “honest view on the latest happenings” in the international COVID-19 pandemic, the company broke the news to the industry:
"Looking back at our over 15-year long experience as the first mover in the European market, the current situation is not the first challenge we have had to face. Over the years, we have learned that obstacles can and will be overcomed,” the statement read.
“Due to the coronavirus, the event hotel decided to close for safety reasons. Because of that as well as the rising question on how this current situation will develop we will postpone the Digital Business Forum presented by Eurowebtainment. All purchases that have already been made will be valid for the rescheduled dates.”
The organizers added, “As you know, we are specialists in creating opportunities for networking in a truly stress-free and relaxing atmosphere. Whenever there is a chance, we will continue to do so. After all, there is no question we will soon be reunited on the island to network and enjoy some fun in the sun. Then, the current necessary preventative measures of governments will be a distant memory.”
The Eurowebtainment team noted it would announce a new event date as soon as one is official.
