HUNGTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - BDSM-gear manufacturer eXtreme Restraints has launched Wish List 2.0, an improved version of its wish-list system.
The system allows a visitor to send products to a wish-list owner without the system learning anything more than the owner's first name. Since an affiliate code can be added to the wish-list link, the owner can receive gifts and earn money at the same time.
"One of our prime concerns was convenience," Affiliate Manager James Medina said. "We made sure that the wish-list visitor could add items to the cart and check out in as few steps as possible. We don't even make them sign up for an account."
Wish List was designed to hide the identity of the wish-list owner. Upon completion of an order, the purchaser receives a confirmation email without the shipping address, and the wish-list owner receives an email with the tracking information. The billing address isn't included, which allows webmasters to tap the adoration of their fan bases without sacrificing their privacy, eXtreme Restraints said.
"Combined with our affiliate program, our Wish List could easily be integrated into cam sites, escort listings, adult social networks and more," Medina said. "Members would be able to share their interests and exchange gifts, while network owners could reap the affiliate payouts."
