Domain Names Still Being Accepted for Auction at Internext

LAS VEGAS - Internext Las Vegas 2009, being held Jan. 12 -14 at the Palms Casino Resort, has announced the return of its Live Domain Auction presented by AVN Online.

Submissions for the auction - set for 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 - will be accepted through Dec. 19.

To date, more than 250 domains will be auctioned at the live event, while another 2,000 will be available for sales through the Internext Extended Online Domain Auction.

The auction has become a staple at Internext, and this marks the fifth installment of the event.

At past auctions, big sellers include BJ.com, which went for $200,000; TopModel.com, which sold for $117,650; and Flings.com, which was purchased for $68,830. The Internext Auction series has also facilitated important asset acquisitions over the years, some of which are now highly recognized, revenue-producing sites.
