'D-Money Show' Returns To Internet Airwaves

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Darren Blatt, aka D-Money, is bringing his popular Internet radio program "D-Money Show" back, complete with archived and new material.

Blatt, founder of the "Players Ball" webmaster parties, started the show in 1999 but decided to take a break a few years ago.

"There was an industry shift at the time," he said. "A lot of the players had changed, and the vibe was different. And I decided I needed to really pay attention to my clients and my other business ventures for a while."

However, Blatt said he always had fun doing the program, which featured behind-the-scenes documentation of the Web side of the adult entertainment industry.

"We had some great stuff," he said. "Like [AVN Media Network President] Paul Fishbein getting an award at the ‘Players Ball.' It's priceless."

Blatt said he felt there would be a time when the show could return to the Internet airwaves, and now is the right time.

The new version of the site, D-MoneyShow.com, will showcase all previously collected content converted to Flash format. The content includes interviews with webmasters, major online adult industry executives and behind-the-scenes films from award shows.

The site also features new content, including prank phone calls to adult industry names, made by Blatt and his brother, adult industry entrepreneur Kevin "KB" Blatt.

"I let my brother take the lead on those because he's hilarious," Darren Blatt said. "And they feature people we all know."

Several calls are already on the site, including one made to AVN Online Publisher MJ McMahon.

Also in the works is "It's a Bro Thing," a show featuring the Blatt brothers.
