NEW YORK—A new website touted as "the TrustPilot/Yelp for the creator economy" is now live and seeking early adopters. Dubbed Fan.Reviews, the site offers adult performers the chance to promote their fan subscription feeds alongside those of mainstream celebrities.
"Allowing past subscribers to leave a positive review has been extremely powerful, and it builds trust amongst fans," one creator said. "It's the fastest and most trustworthy way for fans to leave feedback on my content."
The site offers built-in security features that allow reviews to be flagged by anyone in the community and employs an entire moderation team, so abuse and spam are kept off the platform.
Fan.Reviews has a comprehensive five-star review system with abilities to add badges to reviews such as "PPV" or "No Nudity." This helps fans know what they are subscribing to before paying. The platform's designers say they are building capabilities for creators to interact with fans, such as replying to reviews or pinning reviews to the top of their feed.
