LOS ANGELES—The team behind webcamming site CamSoda has launched a new social media-style platform, xfollow.com, built with adult creators in mind.
The new site provides creators the ability to link up any other site they use, as well as interact with their followers and sell their content directly with an 80 percent revshare.
“Every day porn stars and adult models are locked out of their social media accounts or booted from the platform(s) they’re on,” commented Molly Cavalli, Head of Models at xfollow.com. “Not only does it inhibit their ability to interact with the fans and build their brand, it impacts their livelihood. Xfollow.com will be an amazing resource for the industry to help them thrive.”
NSFW content has exploded on social media—especially Twitter—in the past few years with the rise of adult creator sites, however both Twitter and Instagram have been increasingly deactivating users’ accounts for violating their Sexual Solicitation policies, ultimately causing some sex workers and models to miss out on up to 40 percent of their income.
At launch, xfollow.com already features hundreds of models, including industry luminaries such as Dani Daniels, Brandi Love, Kelsi Monroe and many more.
“I love engaging with all my adoring fans on social media,” said Monroe. “Getting blacklisted prevents me from doing that. It also hurts my earning potential. Xfollow.com is going to be amazing because we can finally engage with fans without having to worry about the consequences and potentially losing our social accounts. The fans will love it, too, because they’ll be able to see everything!”
