LOS ANGELES—Camming Life on Wednesday announced the comedy web series Cam_Girlfriend is nominated for Best Comedy and Dynamic Duo (Lily LaBeau & Dave Keystone) by the NYC Web Fest and Best Writing (Comedy) and Best Ensemble (Comedy) by the Rio Webfest.
Rio Webfest is an international festival that recognizes the best online content from web series, vlogs, web pilots, and more. With more than 60 categories, Rio Webfest winners are awarded with personalized trophies called ZÉ, the Brazilian version of the Oscars. Cam_Girlfriend was nominated for both Best Writing (Comedy) and Best Ensemble (Comedy). The winners will be announced on November 11-14 at the live festival in Rio. NYC Web Fest brings together a multifaceted diverse group of people from around the world to showcase the best of the web. The festival strives to be the premier home for digital producers on an international level. NYC Web Fest has 20 different award categories and Cam_Girlfriend is nominated for Best Comedy and Dynamic Duo (LaBeau & Keystone). The winners will be announced on November 13-15 during their virtual festival.

Cam_Girlfriend is a 10-episode comedy series that follows the life of a cam girl, Chloe, who is struggling to juggle her relationship with her boyfriend and her dedicated camming fans. Each episode uncovers a new comedic element of what a cam girl goes through in their day-to-day and lets the public see behind the curtain of the internet’s hottest trend. The comedic cinematic sensation explores romance, technology, live connectivity, and love.
CAMGF1 Productions is the company behind Cam_Girlfriend. The series was created by Ethan Cole; directed by Daniel AM Rosenberg; written by Ethan Cole and Michael Goldlist and produced by Jason Kennedy and Daniel AM Rosenberg. The series was made possible thanks to the Independent Production Fund.
