LOS ANGELES—Organizers of the Bucharest Summit 2020 on Monday announced the gathering has been scheduled for October 27-29 at the Sheraton Hotel, in Bucharest, Romania.
"Yes, many countries are still in lockdown, and some travel bans are still active in Europe, but we believe humanity will prevail, vaccines and cures will become available and we will be able to fly, meet, do business and party together with no restrictions in just four months from now!" Bucharest Summit PR Manager Andra Chirnogeanu said in announcing the dates.
"We will, of course, take all the precautionary measures to ensure your safety and all registrations and sponsorships are fully refundable in case health regulations will force us to delay or cancel the event. But we are very confident this will not be necessary and we will all have a chance to meet again. Bucharest is known as the commercial center of Eastern Europe and Bucharest Summit is the place to be for online, digital and entertainment companies to meet and do business."
Bucharest Summit for the last four years has catered to an international business market. Chirnogeanu pointed to the Summit's "Spotlight Talks"—interviews where previous attendees showcase their business and answer questions.
