LOS ANGELES—Adult website and adult domains seller Broker.xxx has announced that it is welcoming adult domainers that are being banned and cast out by eBay's recent policy changes.
In a notice sent to sellers related to the "Adults Only" section, eBay stated:
"We have revised our policy on adult articles. As of June 15, 2021, items that display sexual activity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive poses will no longer be allowed on eBay.com."
Specifically included in the list of prohibited categories are "adult-only domain names." Sellers violating the new eBay policy may be subject to suspension.
"Before Broker.xxx there was no centralized place to sell adult domains at all, so we built it. We welcome all domain and website sellers being thrown out due to eBay's new policy," said Juicy Jay, CEO and founder of Broker.xxx. "We are leading the way forward and nothing compares to the way we sell adult websites and domains in the adult industry. Our sexy sleek platform is purpose-built and our growing team is helping people sell their adult domains and websites, a market that eBay has decided they have no interest in."
According to the company's website, Broker.xxx is the largest exclusively adult marketplace and brokerage in the world. The website contains more than 1,200 website and domain listings, with more than $16M in listed domains.
A company rep also indicated there would be another announcement coming soon.
"Our next-generation adult domains platform is currently in pre-release Beta and will ultimately rival mainstream entities such as Dan.com, Sedo, HugeDomains, and other mainstream-first marketplaces that commonly downplay their adult domain portfolio," added Jay.
Domainers seeking to list their domains during the pre-release Beta may visit Broker.xxx or contact [email protected] for invite-only access.
