Among Big Sellers at Internext Domain Auction

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - A final bid of $200,000 won an online bidder the domain, one of the big sellers in Friday's live domain auction at Internext Summer 2008.

The auction was conducted by, which has held similar auctions at the past several Internext events.

Open to attendees of Internext, as well as bidders who signed up to participate online, more than 180 domain names were offered during the auction. Aside from, other big sellers were for $19,000, for $17,000 and for $60,000. The domain sold at last year's Internext domain auction for $520,000.

Also offered up for sale was, which was released from's inventory. All proceeds from that sale - which totaled $350 from an online bidder - will be donated to the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection.
