LOS ANGELES—Adult virtual reality studio BaDoinkVR celebrates its six-year mark on the web by offering a selection of special birthday content and a heavily discounted subscription rate for users.
Founded in 2015, BaDoinkVR has gone on to produce over 1,200 hours of VR content. "This experience was like nothing else on the market. Within a year, we had already expanded our production team to include crews in Prague and Barcelona, BaDoinkVR head of production Xavi Clos said. "Since then, we've come a long way—we've upgraded our resolution to 7K, improved sound, added camera movement, and improved the UX of our sites. All of which was made possible by our users."
Beginning in July, the BaDoinkVR network will offer new subscriptions at an all-time low price of $9.95 per month, which will include a a sister site of the user's choosing.
One of such available sites is VRCosplayX, introduced in 2016. "VR headsets and gaming go hand-in-hand. We wanted to merge those two worlds, focusing our efforts on world building, canon, costumes and well, of course, everything else goes into an adult VR film," Clos explained. "Our team is constantly working on making scenes more immersive. This year, we've started releasing scenes in 7K, and introducing 3D CGI elements into our cosplay scenes.
VRCosplayX releases one new scene per week, featuring popular characters from TV shows, movies and video games.
Other sister banners added to the network in the intervening years include 18VR, a teen site focusing on group sessions, BabeVR, a solo site, RealVR and KinkVR.
