HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Award-winning performer turned producer/director Ricky Johnson today unveils his own new membership site, Ricky’s Room.
“I felt that after being in the industry for a little bit and my experience producing for Reality Kings that I could start my own website/company,” said the 2017 AVN Best Male Newcomer. “Of course, I’ve had an amazing crew to help with the process. Curious Judas has been my main videographer, James McCloud has been my photographer. Rob has been my PA. Lexi has been my main make-up artist. Janae has been a wonderful personal assistant. I also partnered with YourPaysitePartner and they’ve done an amazing job coding the site among other things. It’s great because I feel like I’m such an independent person, it’s great to have a team of wonderful people help me out.”
The site launches today at noon ET with eight brand-new scenes. The innaugural batch of scenes are: (1) Alexis Tae and Eliza Ibarra with Johnson, (2) Vanessa Sky, Brooklyn Gray and Evelyn Claire with Johnson, (3) Adriana Maya and Johnson, (4) Alina Ali, Jenna Foxx and Jezabel Vessir in a g/g/g threesome, (5) 2022 AVN Best New Starlet Blake Blossom and Johnson, (6) Jane Wilde and Dwayne Foxxx, (7) Andreina Deluxe and Johnson, and (8) Angel Youngs with Johnson.
Johnson, who has been under contract with Brazzers since 2019, explained to AVN that under the terms of his agreement with the brand, he is permitted to appear in content for his own site.
“It was amazing working with [Best New Starlet] Blake Blossom,” he said. “I totally understand why she won the award! I’m excited to see her grow in this industry. I was blessed to shoot a bunch of the industry’s top leading ladies and newcomers.”
A passion project in the making for over three years, Ricky's Room is described as offering "a sizzling, gonzo, nighttime aesthetic" and action distinguished by "no scripts, just all-star performers having sex and it being captured to the fullest."
“One of the main focuses of the site is chemistry,” Johnson noted, “so there is a decent amount of time spent on pre-production. I feel it’s important that the scene partners actually want to work with each other rather than be set up in a blind date type of situation.”
Upcoming releases in the few weeks and months ahead feature some of porn’s biggest stars, including Scarlit Scandal, Indica Flower, Kenna James, Kylie Rocket, Gianna Dior, Lacy Lennon, Chanell Heart, Ana Foxxx, Vanna Bardot, Mona Azar, Karma Rx, Gia Derza, Mila Monet, Diamond Banks, Maddy May, Anna Claire Clouds, April Olsen, Carmen Caliente, Aubree Valentine, Khloe Kapri, Yumi Sins, Destiny Cruz, Mia Moore, Zerella Skies, Arianna Aimes, Air Thugger and Mazee the Goat.
“I also wanted to make a site that will allow talent to be comfortable and a place where new male and female talent can get a chance to showcase their talents,” Johnson continued. “Mazee the Goat is one of the other male talents who are on the sight aside from me and he is far ahead one of the best new talents out there. I’m excited to see his career take off and flourish. Air Thugger, Dwayne Foxxx and Jax Slayher are some other male talents who make guest appearances to Ricky’s Room.”
He concluded, “I’m super excited to enter this next chapter of my time in the adult industry and I’m excited to see what it holds ahead for me. I’m super excited to contract some people at the end of the year and add to the Ricky’s Room team and expand the brand in the future.”
