MFC's AshleyyLovee Featured in October Issue of CAMStar

LOS ANGELES — The cam model known as AshleyyLovee brings her A-game every October, whether she’s making her own pumpkin seeds or teasing in a sexy costume.

Halloween season means it’s also Ashley’s time to shine.

“The energy around Halloween is so infectious, the crisp air and the spooky vibes everywhere,” she says. “I love going to different haunted houses and although I’m not very good at it, I love carving pumpkins!

“I think one of my favorite things about Halloween is the costumes. I was always working in haunted houses as a kid, so I almost never got to dress up or go trick-or-treating, but now I get to wear a different costume every night for 31 days straight!”

Halloween feels like home for AshleyyLovee, whose unforgettable memories of the holiday now inspire her to create new ones.

Growing up, my dad was very into Halloween—he set up haunted houses in our garage every year,” Ashley tells AVN. “It was always a part of my life, so I always kind of knew how to act in the haunted houses. As a kid, it’s easy to be creepy in the right costume.”

She says everything else that goes into working at haunted attractions—such as marketing, design and construction work—she had to learn on her own.

“I worked with more experienced builders who showed me how to do electrical work and how to set up and build the structures, but there wasn’t like an instruction manual on how to make scary,” Ashley continues.

“We did a maze that was themed around a graveyard; it even had an elevator that took you ‘underground’ where there were skeletons and actors. The elevator took a lot of electrical and structural work, which was exciting to learn, but I also came up with the methods for distressing the skeletons.”

After a lot of trial and error, the resourceful future CAMStar reveals she found “the perfect method by using spray paint and a sponge to distress the skeleton.”

“Then I grabbed some old fake plastic/foam dead bodies we had and I cut the top layer of plastic off and carefully placed pieces on the skeleton, using a heat gun to melt the plastic onto the bones,” Ashley adds. “Next, I would place patches of mesh cloth over the plastic and use the heat gun again to melt them into the ‘flesh.’

“A few final touches, and the skeletons looked like bodies who’d decomposed with their clothes still on. They were very authentic and a lot of work; I spent eight hours a day for two weeks just to make a dozen skeletons!”

In this exclusive Q&A for CAMStar accompanied by 12 pages of photography, AshleyyLovee discusses her go-to strain of weed, her longest cam session, her most underrated attribute, her college degree and her next moves, plus much more.

CS: What did you study in college? How did you like college?

AL: I started out studying Business Administration, but after two years I switched to Hotel & Restaurant Management, which was a ton of fun. Ultimately, I graduated with a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Business Law and Accounting. I’ve always wanted to go to law school. I think when I get back from Europe I’ll take the LSAT and hopefully get accepted into a good program. I don’t plan on stopping camming, but I would use my degree mostly for pro bono work.

When you were camming, did your classmates or anyone know or did you keep it a secret?

I did keep it a secret—only my boyfriend and my roommate knew. I had a couple slip-ups though! I once posted on my personal Snapchat a revealing selfie that said, “logging online, see you soon” and one of my guy friends saw it before I took it down. I told him it was meant for my boyfriend (who lived with me) and that we were going to Skype. I don’t know if he believed me or not, but he never brought it up again.

I also accidentally sent a bunch of pictures to my classmate! I was trying to transfer them to my computer, but since we were partners on a project, his number came up first and I sent them all to him. I just texted him, “forget what you saw, that wasn’t meant for you” and he told me he deleted them. Those pictures are still available on my MFCShare.

Once I started to gain confidence, and was doing well, I finally told my friends and family about my work. I was never ashamed, I just didn’t think people would understand and figured it was easier to keep it private. Now I’m pretty open about camming. I give vague answers like “streaming” when people ask what I do, but if they are curious I’ll tell them. I’m very proud of the work I do and I don’t think I need to hide it!

Does your college roommate who got you into camming still cam? Do you keep in touch with her—if so, what does she think of how much you’ve grown as a cam model?

She doesn’t really, but she has made a few appearances on cam with me! She was blown away with how different and exciting my shows were compared to when we used to cam together. We are still very close friends. She was even a bridesmaid at my wedding!

How did you develop your camming routine?

I used to think staying on as long as possible was the best idea—I did camathons all the time! That’s actually how I ended up camming for 36 hours straight (I will never do that again!). After that, I set shorter hours and focused on making that time count.

I started by making calendars of my cam schedule and sticking to the calendar as much as I could. I would plan things like Topless Sunday’s or Costume Friday’s; I had a set show for every day but honestly it started to feel restrictive. I have more fun deciding that night what I want to do. It’s always a surprise and you never know what the room is in the mood for!

How would you describe Ash’s Army?

Ash’s Army was the first club I started offering to my loyal corp of regulars! It offers benefits like discounts on MFCShare, free content, and access to my private Snapchat. Though I do offer quite a few different clubs with all kinds of different perks, Ash’s Army is a great place to start. Enlist today!

How much do you enjoy doing collabs with other models—such as your food fight, BarBCuties, Slumber Party Shower Show and Bondage Show?

I LOVE working with other models, it’s so much fun! I’ve made a lot of friends through cam, and I love having the opportunity to make something together. It’s always a little uncomfortable when you work with someone new, and it doesn’t always work out well, but over time you meet some models that you really click with. When you work with the right people, it doesn’t even feel like work! You end up doing all kinds of silly, funny, and sexy stuff—everything from pouring BBQ sauce all over ourselves, jello wrestling, crazy pillow fights, naked Twister or even gagging and tying each other up! … Also I get to make out with a bunch of hotties, so that’s a lot of fun. ;)

I had a really strong sex-worker community when I was living in Phoenix. Since moving back to Los Angeles, it’s been difficult to find people to cam with, but I still make sure to do a show with my best friend Natalia Rae every month or so!

How do you use MFCShare? Which clips have been your most popular and why?

I use MFCShare mostly as a platform for my store, content, clubs, and tip menus. I used to use it only to post my videos and photo-sets, but they really developed the platform over the past couple years! Now you can find everything from limited-edition Ashtober merch and content to offline tip menus and exciting token goals.

What advice would you give a new cam model trying to establish herself?

The best advice I could give a new model is to be yourself and be consistent. It’s not just about being successful, it’s about enjoying what you’re doing, and being proud of everything you put out there! Don’t get caught up in what you think you should do, what you see other models doing, or even what people ask from you! Focus on doing what you enjoy and showing your personality.

And don’t forget, consistency is key!

Name someone who inspires you and why?

Picking just one person is way too hard, I’ve had a lot of inspirations along the way and they each helped me in different ways.

Ginger Banks has always been a huge inspiration and when I first started camming she was so helpful! I met her through an Arizona model group chat on Twitter and she started inviting me to a lot of different model meetups and events. She introduced me to the community and made me feel so welcomed. It was the first time I felt like this community was a family. She taught me how to be myself, put myself out there, and connect with other models and people and the industry.

KristiBishh was one of the first models I ever started watching on MFC! Her room is always so fun and exciting, and she is just so sweet and genuine, it’s infectious!

Lastly Emily Bloom is not just a really great friend, but she’s also one of the kindest, hard-working, and most talented people I’ve ever known. Her shows are so creative it never ceases to amaze me! She is so driven and inspiring. Watching her live streams and working with her always pushes me to believe in myself and work harder.

How did you become so good with your hands—for example being able to fix your own car and designing sets?

Spending time with my dad! He had four daughters and no sons, so he made sure to teach us to take care of things ourselves. He’s a very handy, hard-working, and creative guy. He was always teaching my sisters and I how to work on cars and fix things around the house. We did a lot of big remodeling jobs in the backyard—I’ve built chairs, tables, wooden awnings, done stonework, painting, and more!

What is your most underrated attribute?

Probably my sense of humor. I’m actually really funny, but nobody ever laughs at my jokes!

Name three things that you love…

Bears.
Beets.
Battlestar Galactica.

Name two or three of your best strengths. What are you truly great at?

My tenacity is probably one of my greatest strengths. I don’t give up until I reach my goals or at least until I’m sure I’ve done everything I can to achieve them. I’m also really great at thinking on my feet. I’m able to come up with some creative solutions really fast!

What’s next for you?

When I got serious about camming, I set a lot of goals/milestones for myself. One of the first goals was to be in the top 1000 for a year, and by the end of the year, I’d managed to stay in the top 500! My other major goal was to be AVN’s CAMStar for the Month of October, so I guess I can check that off now. ;)

Going forward, I’d like to push to be in the top 100 for a year and then hopefully reach the top 50 consistently. It still feels a little ambitious for me, but I’ve surprised myself before, so I’m really excited to see what the next few years bring!
