NEW ORLEANS—Titcoin co-founder and Triple X Tycoon programmer Christon "Doop" Le’John of Outhouz, Inc. has announced the creation of a new cryptocurrency for the adult entertainment industry dubbed Lood.
The new currency debuts with the intention of instantly allowing performers and studios to process payments via a one-click gateway.
In partnership with the blockchain game development studio RogueMicro, the project will integrate into the upcoming Triple X Tycoon: Online, an interactive platform offering a recreation of the adult industry in a fictional world.
In a Steemit post published last year, Le'John said, “Triple X Tycoon has always strived for depth in both its characters and economics engine. By merging existing algorithms with blockchain technology we will be able to add new layers of interactivity to the simulation.”
Plans include smart contracts for performers that may be transferable to any other platform powering Lood, essentially turning fictional stars’ contracts into a type of Cryptokitties-esque asset, with plans to eventually allow real performers to verify, participate and even sell original content. The cryptocurrency and embeddable payment gateway is expected to launch in Q3 of 2021.
