LOS ANGELES—The MyFreeCams model known as Alexa tells AVN that camming full-time taught her many things—such as how to be a more patient person.
“My patience has gradually improved and everyday is being tested,” Alexa says. “As I’m growing up I’m starting to be more self aware to everything and I’m always trying to just better myself, whether it be my actions or my habits.
“For example if I’m having a slow day on cam I focus on how can I be more positive because I can control my emotions. Always turning a negative into a positive.”
To say that more mature approach is working for Alexa would be an understatement.
The flirty former legal assistant—who moved from her hometown of Las Vegas to San Diego last summer—brings her dedicated work ethic and upbeat vibes to MFC on an almost daily basis, entertaining her members with her love of weed, her chill demeanor and her penchant for naughtiness.
“All the mistakes you are not supposed to make before you sign up I made. I never gave up,” says Alexa, who received a nomination for the fan-voted 2020 AVN Award for Favorite Cam Girl. “I’ve had a 1K cam score and a 10K cam score…doesn’t make a difference. I log on.”
In this exclusive Q&A for CAMStar accompanied by 10 pages of photography by Keith Ryan, the first cover girl of the decade talks about how she found camming, reveals her favorite strain of weed, describes the meaning behind her leg tattoo and tells us about a rap artist who inspires her, among other things.

CS: What about the timing—what made you decide to make the move to San Diego this past summer?
A: The timing of my move started as a goal last summer of 2018. I said that I wanted to make it happen and I did.
How did it feel getting your first tip on MFC?
I remember it was 60 tokens and it was within a couple minutes. I felt like, ‘Wow this is great.’ I didn’t know what anything meant yet. I was definitely a deer in the headlights.
What were you thoughts about camming at first? How long did it take you to become comfortable being naughty on the internet?
I feel like it just kind of happened gradually. I just kept pushing at it and I started getting positive feedback on certain things.
What were you doing on cam when you received your 40,000 token tip from CobrasBike?
What was I doing? Oh yes! AVN 2019... honestly, thank you. Go to AVN... You might just get your highest tip ever. I was in the hotel room [at Hard Rock] right before I was gonna go down to the show floor and then he tip-bombed me. January was my best month… Last month [October 2019] I got No. 69 [in the Miss MFC contest].
How do you use MFCShare? What have been some of your more popular MFCShare video clips?
I use it for everything. I post videos, goals, photosets, everything. My most popular video clip... I have no idea.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about maintaining a strong work ethic as well as a healthy mental state.
How would you describe one way your patience has improved?

This is hard for me I don’t know, uhm... I have a good head on my shoulders, that’s all I need. People tell me that they envy that I don’t give a fuck.
Name three things that you love…
I love my dog Sam, I love cannabis, I love myself.
What kind of dog is Sam?
He is a Golden Retriever and he just turned 5… He was like the first thing I bought with my first real paycheck [from camming]…I said I’m buying a dog … He’s from Craigslist.
What kind of music is your favorite?
Rap, stoner tunes, EDM.
Which rap and EDM artists do you like?
My favorite rap artists are Big Sean, Juicy J, Chris Webby, Dizzy Wright, & Mac Miller R.I.P. EDM artists for sure would be Tiesto, AfroJack, Steve Aoki, Diplo, Skrillex...
What song have you listened to the most in the past month?
It’s called “Overtime” by Big Sean…oh my god I love him. He’s the best…
What do you like to do when you’re not working—what hobbies do you have?
When I’m not working I enjoy hiking with my dog, listening to music and reading.
What kind of books do you like reading? Do you have a favorite book?
I love self-help books. My favorite book is “Go Ask Alice” by Anonymous.
Why is "Go Ask Alice” your favorite book?
Because it’s so literally sucks you in. It’s based on a true story on a diary about this girl. I feel like any younger girl that might read that would find it is relatable—like a girl in her 20s. A young adult woman would definitely find it interesting.
What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
How quick people are to judge.
What’s your favorite kind of food or dish?
Some bomb fresh and warm donuts (blueberry cake & cronut, specifically)
If I gave you a million dollars, what would you buy right now?
A backyard for my dog.
Do you prefer wearing underwear, going freestyle, or is it a case-by-case decision?
Freestyle. Less laundry.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper.
What is your favorite Bradley Cooper movie? DeNiro movie?
Favorite Bradley Cooper movie is a tough choice between Limitless or Silver Linings Playbook.
What did you eat for breakfast today?
I had scrambled eggs and bacon and a coffee…
What’s next for you?
What’s next? NYC.
What do you think of New York?
I’ve only been to NYC once and I absolutely love it there! I would like to live in NYC during the winter to just experience what a cold winter really is like.
How did you like your most recent trip there?
I did recently just go there for the Exxxotica convention. I stayed there for four days—Thursday to Monday. I had a really good time and got to explore. I got to go to this art gallery. I would love to go there again… I feel like it’s such a big city. I can always go back and explore another area.
