AdXpansion Closes, JuicyAds Acquires Technology Assets

VANCOUVER—JuicyAds on Thursday announced that it has acquired select underlying technology and other assets during the closure and liquidation of AdXpansion.
 
AdXpansion, which was a leading advertising network since 2009, shuttered operations as of August 1st, 2019.
 
"It is a bit sad to see AdXpansion completely gone," stated Juicy Jay, CEO and founder of JuicyAds.com "Even though all operations at AdXpansion are now ceased, we have acquired the most interesting parts of the technology and they are being implemented at JuicyAds and will be kept alive for years to come."
 
According to JuicyAds, a recent research study showed that its platform monetizes "approximately 11% of the world's adult advertising websites, according to data from Microsoft, Carnegie Mellon University, and University of Pennsylvania." The network has also previously been ranked as one of the top 10 largest advertising networks in the world by W3Techs.
 
AdXpansion's closure adds to the list of adult advertising networks that have closed in recent years, most notably Reporo who went into voluntary liquidation last year.
 
Advertisers and Publishers formerly with AdXpansion are recommended to join the JuicyAds platform to upgrade their services.
