Webmaster Toy Run has Silent Auction

It’s time for the third annual Webmaster Toy Run, begun in 2004 by Mike M., the co-founder of SexEntertain.com. As Mike envisioned it, the event began with a simple idea: connecting directly with abandoned, abused or terminally ill children in order to make their holiday a little less difficult. The annual event raises funds to provide toys, books, and other holiday gifts to organizations focusing on underprivileged, orphaned, and disabled children.

This year, the Webmaster Toy Run is stepping up the drive by sponsoring its first silent auction, which will be held during the Webmaster Access West. Taking place during a three-day period beginning Wednesday, Nov. 8, and ending on Friday, Nov. 10, the silent auction will conclude online at GFY.com on the final day.

“Being able to bring a smile to a child that has been needlessly suffering is a truly rewarding experience, and well worth the effort we put into this fund raising challenge,” said Mike M. With donations by Hustler, Wicked, Mansion Productions, SilverCash, and promotional support from friends at XBiz, AVN, and GFY, the toy run and silent auction is off to a good start.

The auction prizes are quite desirable: Win electronics like an Xbox 360 or an iPod; passes to cool events such as a luxury suite at an NHL game or a live visit to a Wicked Pictures video shoot; or win a leased copy of the award-winning affiliate program software MPA3 plus a copy of its content-management software, MAS—altogether worth more than $6,800.

Donations to the silent auction will be shown during the Porn Poker Tour and the Get Lucky Bowling Party during Webmaster Access. Bidding will continue on Nov. 10, on which day the winners will be announced on GFY.
