Webair Turns 10!

Web hosting company Webair reaches a milestone this week with the celebration of its 10th anniversary.

“It feels gratifying to make it so far,” the company’s chief executive officer, Michael Christopher, told AVNOnline.com. “It just goes so quickly.”

The company celebrated its birthday with the launch of a revamped website, which features a fresh, proprietary control panel (EZPanel) and additional webmaster services, including SiteReptile and ObjectCube DRM integration. Additionally, Webair has taken 50 percent off the price of its shared-hosting packages for the month of January as a way of thanking its colleagues and clients. The discount applies to the first six months of each hosting contract.

Launched in 1997, Webair quickly grew from a modest hosting company into the decade-old giant it is today, offering e-commerce solutions and shopping cart programs; an array of SEO services; multiple unique Class C IPs; custom-suited dedicated and managed accounts; secure servers; unrestricted bandwidth; multiple-and private-name servers; transit-free, tier one connectivity; and 24/7 customer support. Last year, the award-winning company received accreditation from the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.

“Being in business 10 years, I think, speaks for itself,” Christopher said. “I think we’ve grown considerably, and we’ve learned a lot along the way. We’ve changed with the times and the technologies, and it’s good to look back and see that 10 years have passed, and we’ve come so far and had so many clients.

“I think the trust of our clients and the loyalty of our clients [is what has kept us around this long],” Christopher continued. “That’s the core of our success. We do our best to keep up with everything. We have clients that have been with us for the whole 10 years.”

With another decade and beyond in mind, Christopher said the future will bring “more of the same.”

“We’re just going to keep doing what we’re doing,” he declared. “We’re obviously doing something right, so we’re just going to keep going and going forward.”
