MONTREAL - Venture Wire has reported
that Vantrix, a mobile
video delivery technology provider, has raised $5.25 million in new financing
from MMV Financial.
The company plans to funnel the funds into development efforts aimed at strengthening
sales, marketing, engineering and research.
Vantrix offers services for delivering video on demand, live
TV, video alerts, user-generated content, video sharing and other multimedia to
mobile devices for customers such as ABC News, Orange, T-Mobile and The Weather Channel.
