NEW YORK - VIDEOmovement, the world’s first online video advertising network, was launched at the American Association of Advertising Agencies conference in Las Vegas and has been quite successful, according to its property owner ICMediaDirect.
"It’s been a runaway success thus far, surpassing even the most optimistic hopes of its founders," a company statement read. "Advertisers will be able to give more control, creativity, and effectiveness to online messaging than ever before with VIDEOmovement."
"Advertisers benefit from VIDEOmovement’s network, which includes properties such as Vindie and YourStashBox," the company statement read. "Configured to incorporate Web 2.0 functionality, VIDEOmovement uses community building and video sharing to attract almost endless amounts of [Internet] traffic."
Advertisers can join VIDEOmovement’s network through channel sponsorship, social-networking advertising, interactive contests, product placement, and advertising channels.
The company said studies indicate that one-third of Americans view online video at least once a month. Some polls also indicate that as many as 90 percent of viewers do not mind seeing online video ads before content.
