TwitPic Shuts Down Porn Star Accounts

LOS ANGELES -- Photo upload site TwitPic, designed for sending images to one's Twitter page, has shut down the accounts of several porn stars, claiming they violated terms of services with questionable photos.

Alleging there was also some complaints over photos, TwitPic eliminated the accounts of adult stars that include Jessica Drake, Nikki Benz, Kimberly Kane, DanaDeArmond and Flower Tucci.

Drake doesn't understand what all the fuss is about.

"As far as nudes, I've never posted explicit photos, although I have taken pictures of other people on the set and uploaded those," she told AVN.com. "Basically, Twitter had no problem, TwitPic did. It's somewhat affiliated, but has nothing to do with a Twitter account. When I logged on, it said I was suspended and I should contact customer support. But I didn't get any response at all."

Ava Rose also thinks she didn't post anything blatantly offensive.

"It was my first [Twitter] photo," she said. "Me and Alexis Texas doing a box cover shot for Elegant Angel, just her and I naked, nothing showing but our backsides."

"So don't post nude pics," she added. "Always have on underwear."

Drake, an avid kitchen enthusiast, said she mostly posts pictures of food, the things she cooks, as well as the places she travels. So really, the suspension makes little sense to her.

She has, however, had other Twitter-related problems, such as Twitter stalkers and a fake Tiffany Mynx.

"This person seemed to only be on Twitter to bash other stars and obviously, it wasn't her [Mynx]."

The suspension of the porn stars is TwitPic's loss, as Drake said it was easy to go sign up with another picture delivery service and continue her frequent tweeting. Rose also just signed up for another service.

"As far as I can tell, every once in a while, you get people who are going to be crazy or stir up shit and that's most likely what happened here," Drake said.
