TubeResource.com Clarifies Rules of Tube Sites

WOODBRIDGE, N.J. - TubeResource.com was launched Wednesday to guide those who promote through tube sites and clarify the rules for using promotional content on tube sites.

"The great thing we have been seeing so far is that most site owners really are interested within the [terms of service] of sponsors," said Jack Wessen, vice president of public relations. "In many cases, it isn't that a webmaster wants to profit from unethical content; it's that, until now, there was no way of knowing which sites were hosting it or what a specific sponsor's policies were, regarding it. Compiling all of this important information on one website and making it simple to search through has not been easy, but the results have been fantastic."

TubeResource.com said the current climate of the adult marketing industry has caused many webmasters to choose sides in the debate about tube sites and pirated content. Until now, the company said, many webmasters have been unable to determine whether certain tube sites or sponsors use stolen content. The company said it also is difficult to find out sites' and sponsors' terms of service regarding tube content.

TubeResource.com aims to fill that knowledge gap and clarify "the murky waters that most tube sites operate within," the company said.

In addition to listing affiliate programs' specific policies regarding tube traffic and tube content, the site inspects tube sites and labels them as either "within the boundaries of legal and ethical advertising clip standards" or "rogue sites designed around profiting from stolen content illegally lifted from pay sites."

TubeResource.com said its presence is already having results.

"Numerous well-respected affiliate programs have asked to have their own [terms of service] added to the resource, and scores of webmasters have started using this powerful new tool to clearly define the terms of their sponsors and the sites they are operating," the company said. "The goal of TubeResource is to clarify the terms and practices of the exploding tube-site market, so that honest webmasters with integrity can earn money without the fear that they are inadvertently breaking a rule or supporting unethical companies."

Tube-site owners may submit their sites for inspection at TubeResource.com/Sponsor/Submit.php.
