Tube8.com Offers Lindsay Lohan $50,000 for Rehab

MONTREAL—Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has received an offer of help from an unexpected source—if she decides to accept the proposal. Tube8.com, an adult tube site that falls under the banner of the Manwin group of companies, has offered Lohan a minimum of $50,000 to help her pay for court-ordered rehab.

Lohan has been ordered by the court to serve 90 days in a rehab facility after she failed two drug tests while on probation. The problem is that the recklessly profligate actress can’t afford the rumored $150,000 bill.

“The Tube8.com offer is simply based on our desire to help Ms. Lohan,” Kate Miller, a Manwin spokesperson told AVN. “We at Tube8.com are very familiar with her work and know her to be one of the most talented actresses of her generation.

“The adult entertainment industry is highly misunderstood. We believe that Ms. Lohan, through her upcoming role in Inferno, would be an ideal candidate to shed light on it—and we would like to help her do just that.”

The catch to the company’s offer is that Lohan would have to serve as a marketing consultant, and as a bonus, would get unlimited access to the company’s porn archives.

Miller said that the terms of the company’s offer was flexible and hopes to discuss them with Lohan and her representatives.

“Tube8.com is very flexible with the terms of its offer, and looks forward to discussing them with Ms. Lohan and her representatives,” Miller said.
